I created a island and Invited a player to said Island and cannot kick them from it, I am positive I created/own the island The error I get: "Username is not a member of your party" Please mods fix this :( Edit: I changed my username 2 months after creating the island If that helps.
Nope, I've tried /Island kick player /is kick player /party kick player, all come up with the same error
There's a glitch going on, I'm hoping that it will be fixed soon. Ill send a message to Cypriot just to give him a heads up on this, thank you.
This sometimes happens to me, and I end up having to do /island restart (I'm never very far in my builds when this occurs). I hope this is fixed soon, it's frustrating that I keep having to delete my builds just to kick a player from my island. :( @bananaman11223, @fryzigg, @CypriotMerks?
I have already alerted Cypriot of this many times. He said he will work on Skyblock and hopefully fix the bugs that have been going on. Be patient, I know it has been a while. This has been said a lot but us moderator ranking staff can't deal with complex issues like this. We don't have acquitted permissions and never will.
So basically the owners do most of the hard work by themselves.. alone? Never heard of that before lol.
Now you have. We don't have several admins to help them. For the most part, they work in a pair with some help every here and then.
They have things handled for the most part. Of course, they have the assistance of Fry/I + all the mods and builders. They also have help from the developer.
As you may have learnt by now, I respect you alongside some of the other hard working staff highly. I understand what its like to be staff (I've been a Mod/Admin before), it's not fun to the slightest. I greatly appreciate everything you, as well as the owners themselves do for this server.. However; Let me ask you this.. How long is it you guys expect this method of where the owners carry most of the burdens to last? While I am very sure @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew can tackle these issues themselves, they need some helping hands of sorts. This server has just two ranks, and those being Moderator and Owner. That by itself is a widely known problem. How is it Cyp and Noobcrew seek to fix most of the servers problems solely by themselves? Do you know how incredibly insufficient and difficult that must be? Do you know how hard it is to even run a Minecraft server, especially with a community of 1K and growing? How is it they expect everything to remain stable and clean why they are mostly doing all of the large problems, such as technical issues, staff, etc? This method clearly is no longer working as well as it should be. Large issues remain unattended to, such as the lack of management on the server itself, the constant lag spikes that plague parts of the server, etc. I understand the staff help them, but truly how effective is that? Considering you guys are given no true permissions to resolve such problems..? I'm going to compare this with an 'IRL' analogy.. Imagine the president of a large country decides to strip mostly every power away from congress, and directly faces most of the countries problems by himself. Do you know how hard it would be to resolve every issue by yourself, on top of having to face the additional large extent of stress and pressure..? This is truly unheard of as I said. Every successful Minecraft community out there has active Administrators doing most of the dirty work, while also managing the server under the owner's authority. Every successful Minecraft community also has more than just 2 Staff Ranks, and has a structured staff team implemented. Why is this not the case for Mineverse?
It is not my choice how this place is run in an administrative way. I have my job which I will do. I offer a helping hand and help Mineverse in ways I am able to. I understand there are some loopholes but this is certainly not my choice to make nor judge upon. I would bring this up directly to them if you wish to discuss it.
Why, I thought the hundreds of threads regarding this issue would've brought their attention to this matter? My thread of this matter gained 40 supports in just 2 days.. Even many staff I have spoken with have come to an agreement with this issue. Doesn't that all say something to you? Nonetheless, this is why I respect you highly. Even under the extreme circumstances that you are faced with, you still work very hard for the sakes of the community.
