So as some may know, I was gone this weekend on a trip. Well, now I am back so that is good. Can't wait to regain my energy, eat something, take a nap, then maybe play some Mineverse. I went a state park not too far from where I live, and well... I should really pay attention to the weather forecast before embarking on a trip. The campsite we stayed in was low lying, and got entirely flooded by 2 inches of water in under 1 hour. We spent a good 4 hours in the rain under a tarp on a picnic table. Went on a hike through a mud encased river, so that was fun. Then a little rock climbing/kayaking. *These are not pictures of me, just the landmarks :P So yeah, I will be back on MIneverse in an hour or two.
Ledges State Park (Iowa) is where I went :P We started poking holes in the ground at one point looking for a hidden storm drain that was probably clogged. We found it, then all this mud/water came pouring 4 feet behind where I slept ._.
I recently got back from a camping trip to indeed We stayed there for 1 night and we left the next day, but we were supposed to stay another night but, Our tent wasn't waterproof, so I had to sleep in the car which was horrible, but there was no air in there so I had to stay in the tent over night, but unfortunately my mum doesn't like small spaces, so it was a tricky one. Definitely not the best trip I've been on, but they told us it was waterproof, well they were wrong.
