After I saw this video, I thought of this really deep into my mind that.. My whole life was a lie.

 

Mhm, I saw an article with that. It also said Australia is the same size as the US.

 

Wow, it was too obvious when they messed up Russia

 

I learnt bout this in geo last year (I think?) and was somewhat surprised because I used to think Russia was incredibly large.

The problem is that when mapmakers projected the world onto a flat surface, they had to stretch out or distort the countries that were further out from the equator, hence why they seem a lot larger than what they really are.

 

You're pretty stupid if you thought that that nap was accurate.

 

I never thought it would be that inaccurate. There are still many things for me to learn. nap.
