It's been awhile since I've seen a FPS thread where people doing the equivalent of a <edit> measuring contest. Having a FPS over 120 is actually harmful for your screen. There's a reason why you should cap it at 60 or 120.
I would like to now link some evidence of my 6k fps https://gyazo.com/456d7d476fe8e8f7ab742fb69dd0102d Note, I took this screenshot today but It is not my record. My current record is 6007 but 5302 is still really good This is with low settings and a minimized screen.
My highest is 3k while sharing screens on Skype without optifine and on 8 render distance on a fresh loaded single player map. (Not in the void) I average 1-2k while pvping on 8 render distance on mineverse OP/Kit. Specs: Gtx 1070, 16gb ram, i7 6700k
Average is about 150-300 with Nvidia Geforce 740M, Intel core i7 and 8GB ram. I use Nvidia for gaming, Intel for anything else. The highest I've ever achieved has been about 500 fps
My best is 6347 fps on a super flat world (pc specs are i7 6850k OCed to 4.1 Ghz, GTX 1080 with 64 Gb of ram) my pc is only meh
My fps ranges usually ranges from 10 to 30. Bad days it can go to 2. Good days it can go to 60. Saying this now and seeing how people are in the hundreds just makes me sad....
