Support a lot of players have gotten mad at me because I reported them, I think this would make it so there is less toxicity.
I know this was brought up a while back, I guess it was never added or deleted with the cluster of suggestions removed. Support
if you're that worried about being targeted for making a report, why not just DM a moderator privately?
Support. 10000000000% @xBMAN please add this It's not always that simple people may be baised to you only because they are salty.
I opened this suggestion thinking that it would talk about people using the [hidden] thing to hide their reports.
I mean if you’re gonna report someone don’t hide lol man up and even admit it like lmao oh well it’s a block game, no support sorry. I personally enjoy looking through reports sometimes. If the way people treat you after reporting them affects you so much then don’t do it at all tbh
Well that end statement was kind of dumb. People are most likely going to target the avid reporters, but that doesn’t mean you don’t report at all. People may treat you differently, but if you reported them for something, then obviously they did something wrong so it’s their fault.
uhh if a moderator is biased and salty towards you then they shouldn't be a moderator and you should take your problems to someone else / report that particular mod
Personally I want this hidden to the fact that normal users will be salty and do certian things to target you if they see you reported them. & Accept had this issue also before he became a moderator.
how will they see if you reported them if you private message a moderator with your report tho..? that was my initial response and I think you’re misunderstanding what I said
I could do this but If I am applying for moderator position people need to see my reports it would be nice to also show a count how many I have but yes thats a great idea!
support. The amount of angry players that come my way once I report them, even though I'm just following the rules, is alarming. I can see how this can discourage players from reporting. My suggestion for the solution to this problem would be to add an extra few columns onto the "stats" section of forums (I'll use your profile as an example) So basically adding a simple "reports written" to indicate the amount of reports someone has opened to other players so they can judge their application better should they reply. An alternative to this, seeing as not all reports are valid, there could be "reports accepted" to show how many reports have been muted/banned/warned, so the "lack of evidence" reports aren't counted. Of course this is only a suggestion but I completely agree with yours
archived reports are the only way we can track peoples punishments, knowing if someone was banned last month for hacking can change your mind if you think they might be legit. if you arent sure if someone hacks you might not report them, if you can see they have several previous bans for hacking however, you'll be more confident that they still cheat.
staff have logs so they can see who has what warning points / mutes / bans. the general player base doesn’t need access to this
Support, Reports should be hidden and not displayed. If for some reason someone is seen reporting someone on forums, it can instigate hate. It’s best to have them hidden just like bug reports are (I think they are here).
