Hello friends! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Alex and I am a long-time player and ex Senior Moderator of Mineverse. The decision to reapply did not come overnight -I have been contemplating this for quite a while and do believe I am ready to help the server to the best of my capabilities again. Being from Australia, I believe I would be a massive benefit to the community and be able to fill in times when other Moderators cannot be on. Now, into the app. Your in-game name HeyitsAlexa What timezone are you in? GMT (+9:30) What country do you live in? Australia What languages do you speak? Fluent English and basic Spanish. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I have OBS for recording and multiple screenshotting tools. Why do you think you should become a mod? I am a leader Since starting university, I have learnt that being a leader is not about holding knowledge and power, but rather what you do with that knowledge and power. Being a great leader means monitoring your own performance while also elevating others, and using your power to benefit those around you. I am involved in numerous leadership programs inside my university, and have learnt different leadership styles and how they work together, plus how to be a great leader in new situations. I know the Mineverse community, and intend to demonstrate leadership inside and outside the staff team. I am approachable I am not too authoritative when I do not need to be, and hold a very friendly and laid-back demeanour online and offline, in my opinion. I want to be seen as a friend to the community and someone that new (and old) players can come to when they are having issues and need genuine support. However, I am fully capable of being authoritative when I need to be (I volunteer at a high school). I am an innovator I study a Bachelor of Business (Innovation and Enterprise) at university which has only helped me further expand my creative mind and helped with the execution of my ideas. Mineverse is making a slow but steady comeback, and I believe that within a team setting, I can contribute some great ideas towards the server. Being an innovator also means that I have a growth mindset, which will assist me when being faced with unfamiliar situations. I am determined Firstly, I would like to address the fact that I have made 1 report since coming back to the server recently. When I was first promoted, I had 2 reports to my name and was still able to show that I was a fully capable and reliable Moderator once promoted. I am determined to show you guys that I care about the server and will work on creating more reports straight away. I am determined to show that I do have what it takes to moderate this server once again, and the skills I developed the last time around never left me. How long can you be active on the server everyday? To give you an idea of my lifestyle, I am a full-time university student studying a double degree + student representative and also hold two other part-time (once a week) volunteer jobs. Monday - Friday: Times will vary due to other commitments but approximately 2 hours a day. Saturday: 11pm onward Sunday: 7pm onward Forums: Can be active whenever I am not at work or sleeping. Ever since I resigned, I have had a habit to check forums numerous times a day and that will not stop if I am promoted. How long have you been playing Mineverse? Since January 11th, 2014 with a large pause up until recently. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Only for perms removal. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I moderated for Mineverse for two years, five months and twelve days. I was a Senior Moderator from October 31, 2016 up until my resignation on July 4th, 2017. Do you meet all Mineverse's requirements for staff listed below? Yes/No Do you have 50 Post Count? Yes Do you have Two Factor Authentication set up? Yes Have you had 2 Weeks registered on the Mineverse forums? Yes Do you have Skype and Discord for offline communication? Yes To the community, I never really left, but I hope you will accept my comeback and give me a shot to pick up where I left off. Everything here has changed so much now, and I am ready to take on this challenge and prove that I am worthy of the position. I have grown tremendously within the last couple years, and would love to demonstrate that statement even further through moderation. Sincerely, Alex
No way, glad to see you re-applying. It's a neutral for me, just because I feel like you are coming out of no where. I am leaning towards support, just need to see you more active In-Game and on the forums with reports and etc. Good luck though!
Thank you! Thanks!!! I understand you viewpoint, I have been present this whole time and have recently rejoined so I am shooting my shot right now. Nonetheless, thank you for your feedback!
Thanks Pastel! Hi Midnight! I understand where you're coming from, I have addressed the no reports issue in my application already. I would also like to know where I'm not active? I'm currently on the server right now if you would like to come and say hello! I just got my laptop working again recently! : )
Neutral, but i'm leaning towards support. I've just recently started to see you ingame. you should try to get some more reports and become a little bit more active on the PvP gamemodes (where the hackers are) Good luck
Kind of seems like you're jumping on the bandwagon for clout. Also, if you "never really left" then why was your first report in like a year done today. If you cared about the server, you'd have continued reporting people, instead of starting as soon as you wanted moderator. I know you have been an extremely good staff-member, but I don't think that you're trying to become one this time for the right reasons or mindset. No Support.
I'm on KitPvP right now Haha I thought it would come across that way but not my intention. I've been considering this for a few months now.
Thanks for clarifying! My laptop was broken for quite a while and I wasn't in the financial position to get it fixed until recently, which is why I emphasised the 'no reports' point in my app.
