Here's my opinion based on this - You stated , as I quote "There will be no plugins that provide given items. What I am saying is that we create a hardcore factions server where it is 100% pure Minecraft survival." This would be a WELL enjoyed feature, except for those players who donated for their perks.. This concept will be a controversial issue, "I want /kit Titan, I paid $250 for nothing" and then those that side with the "I don't want this to be a pay-to-win" ya'feel? My input would alter this a tad - I've played HC Factions for quite awhile , and on practically all servers that use this game type, there is a "death-ban". Death-ban - When a player dies (due to casualties or from PvP'ing) that player is banned from ONLY that game-type for up to, maybe 12 hours. This death-ban , adds a bit more 'intensity' to the game-play, and makes it more strategic, as well as adds a benefit for donors. So let's say - Mineverse implements this server + the death-ban, and agree to make the death-ban 12 hours. Premium - Removes 15 Minutes from D-B Sponsor - Removes 30 Minutes from D-B VIP - Removes 45 Minutes from D-B MVP - Removes 1 Hour from D-B Elite - Removes 1.5 Hours from D-B Supreme - Removes 2 Hours from D-B God - Removes 3 Hours from D-B Titan - Removes 4 Hours from D-B This makes both parties happy. Yes, "4 hours is not a lot of time", indeed. You'd be correct if you said that, but take into consideration. If you died at Noon (12:00 PM) , You would be able to join back and re-gain some items before maybe having to go to bed that night (8:00 PM) , compared to having to wait til midnight to even begin to restart. "Well, that's not worth $250 " - You'd be right again. That's why I have another suggestion - Full Servers - When the HC Factions is full, players with ANY donor rank would be able to join the server. I've been playing a lot of OP Prison (seems quite popular) and the max players allowed in-game at one time is 225. This number (mostly when it was brand-new) was being maxed out.. Meaning that I had to wait in lobby for 5+ minutes, clicking the compass and then the diamond pickaxe, trying to get my opportunity to play this server. Keep in mind, I'm a Titan ($250 Donor) . That can be a bit - Old? So for example , Mineverse implements HC Factions and Implements this Donor joining full servers idea. The question will be brought up , "What if 225 People are on, and a group of donors join and we get up to 250, and the server begins to lag?" Well, simple solution - Make the server out of 190-200 slots for ALL players, and then leave a 25 slot cushion for when Donors join , so no players get kicked, and there's minimal chance of over-crowding.. This server may require more than 225 slots, due to the fact it will bring a whole new crowd to Mineverse, and probably be the most successful game-type. I love your idea, but take into consideration other people's outlook and figure ways to solve ALL solutions. A bit more detail wouldn't bother - but nonetheless Support. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions - Via PM. -Sincerely, Dontchallengeme Edit - After thinking about this idea for a few minutes, I have further suggestions - X-Ray - There's no doubt in my mind, people will become so desperate for diamonds or other useful material that they will use hacks such as "x-ray". Implementing a plug-in to prevent this would result in a much more surreal environment and economy. These plug-ins do exist, and are quite useful. Map Resets - After awhile (2+ Months) it gets a bit old for those who "have it all". It would be a brilliant idea to reset the map & the server every so often. Without this, hard to get items will become common and ruin the economy. By map reset, I'm referring to a new map. A new area that allows players a fresh start if they may have had unsuccessful luck in the past map. It adds diversity and more challenges. No TP! - This means you'll have to use cordinates to find your friends or enemies. Only /f home (10 seconds) . Also keeps players from going into a hole and tp'ing in half the server , leaving 1 player to fight off a horde, can most definitely be aggravating with the death-ban. For example - OPFactions was AMAZING at first (and still is) but it gets old having everything from money to endless amount of PvP gear. There's no "intense" situations, or scavenging for things. This is probably the most crucial part.
I agree with everything but the death ban. I've seen this, and it can get pretty annoying if you die. I think tpa would be pretty useful, so I'm not sure if it should be allowed or removed.
