I'm here today to suggest that hackers get a perm ban as said in the title. Most hackers who get banned don't learn from their bans and continue to hack. Getting banned twice should result in a perm ban this would be fair as the player would have one chance to prove they dont hack anymore. Although if available, there should be a process through which Moderators or Staff in general all agree if the player was really hacking the second time they're reported. (Since the second time they're caught hacking they will get perm banned in this case). If a perm ban is a bad idea since good players get falsely banned due to lag there can be a system instead. This system would increase the penalty if a player continuously gets banned. This would help the server a lot as it will lower the amount of hackers in the server and make the game more enjoyable. Feel free to help me on this suggestion if you support.
Support. This would greatly reduce the amount of hackers, as well as greatly reduce the amount of potential hackers.
Support. It should be perm, since most hackers are not active players. But players should get one chance of an appeal, and if they do it again, a perm no ban appeal
Look, I was falsely banned for lag once (somehow it made me take several hits from a diamond sword and they thought it was hax, even though I disconnected which was probably why I didn't die). It's possible. So I'm not going to support. I do think that there should be an increasing penalty for hackers though. So if someone is banned the 2nd time their ban is 2 months, then 3 months, etc. etc.
As much as I wish to support this I can't. People get faked hacker put on them, it's happened to me twice, I've even been DDoS'd and got banned as you can see here () People who get DDoS'd in PvP get banned because people say they use "Anti-Kb" what is stupid. This punishment for hackers would be perfect. People would then realize if they hack they're done for. I head-mod a server, 3 hackers where flying about, people who hack don't give a damn for rules, they just ignore and feel to do whatever they like because they think with hacks they're like the next Military general and free to do whatever they like.
