I am very happy to hand over the account before the money, as long as I'm dealing with a trusted member of the community.

Now, before saying it is against the rules to sell an account, please try to look at it my way.
"General trade section is for trades such as buying donor ranks and any other trades that don't belong in the other trade sections."
I view this as selling a rank as the account is completely worthless to me now, and the only reason it has worth to anyone else is because of its rank here.

Illegal Trades:
Do not use Mineverse as a way to give away or sell your MC account. Trading server items or money for anything not MV related is punishable.
