Note: I used to ghost client but i don't anymore and i want to change this community for the better. This is just an idea for the mods, maybe if you think a player is hacking you can bring them into ts and screenshare them using join.me and tell them join ts in 10-15 minutes or you will banned and do not log off. Things to do whilst screen sharing: *Tell them to check there mods folder (if their is somthing called ''Scooby beta'' that means its a client) *Tell them to go in a single player world and tell them to type in -help .help -bind .bind *Tell them to go to their contorls and change attack/destroy to right shift and tell them to hit right shift so it might open up their ghost client since most 1.8 ghost clients are pretty bad and are mostly set to rshift *Then tell them to extract toggle sneak. This is just a suggestion to try catch the sneaky hackers/
What if they dont have teamspeak? And this needs to be moved to suggestions. @Diggy @Krissy_ @Pile_of_Butts
checking your .minecraft folder doesn't mean anything, people use usb clients and really sneaky toggle sneak ghost clients. I've seen a couple join.me ts catching hacker videos.
They cannot logout or they will be banned. (Whilst in mc you cannot delete a client) Pretty sure people on mv aren't smart to do that unless they're from the hcf community you will only be checking their .minecraft and mods folder.I understand if you have personal information on your desktop that you don't want anyone else to see move it somewhere else where it will not be neccasary to look.
They are not permitted to do anything else but ss you, if they breach screen sharing and look and make fun of you be sure to report them.
If there isn't a plugin that allows certain people to watch through the eye of the player, then I'm surprised. If there's such thing as that ^^ I'd support that. But reasons this shouldn't be implemented; -Non Teamspeak users, instant fail. -Hackers might notice the mods desperately wanting to screen share, they would probably say no to it. -What if they stop using/ delete the client in the time?
It would not work. Not all hackers will be able to screenshare, neither can all mods. Checking their .minecraft folder is a little personal and beyond the scope of what mods should be doing; we are here to monitor the server, not peoples files. Sneaky hackers are out there and we try to remove as many as possibly from game-modes but there is only so much we can do. I guess we have to be more vigilant.
