This is LONG overdue but, I've started writing Movie Reviews since April, becuase I was extremely bored and had nothing else to do, and I found that I liked it a lot. and It hadn't occured to me until now to write A Frozen Movie Review, so I spent the time and wrote one :p The questions there are my Format. Enjoy! :p “Frozen” Movie Review Opinions and Thoughts What did you like? What I liked most about the Movie was the overall setting. The producers/writers went to Norway to get ideas from where the story would take place. It was very well detailed in the Movie and the nature of it all was very good. What did you dislike? The Movie is good enough to NOT be disliked by critics and other moviegoers. I like the Movie and honestly, there is nothing I didn’t dislike. Who is your Audience? Older than 12 kids and Adults. REVIEW It starts off showing a few men who work in an Ice Business sort of thing, and a little boy with a baby reindeer. They sing along to a song and then it cuts off and goes to a view of the Castle. In the castle you see a little girl going to wake up another little girl who is her sister. Why does one have Reddish Brown hair and the other one Blond? We’ll find out later. While they are playing, Elsa, the blond haired girl, accidently hits her sister, Anna, in the head, thus making the ice from pretty clear ice. To really cold dark ice. The parents, the queen and king, rush in and find what has happened and they head off into a Troll territory and the Troll Leader heals her. He then shows Elsa that if she can’t control her powers, there will be great destruction. “Do You Wanna Build A Snowman” is played, and during the song, the age processes go on and they grow older into Teenage Princesses. As the King and Queen go on a trip [supposedly to Rapunzel’s Wedding. More on that later] they are caught in a storm surge and the Ship capsizes. At the end, Anna stands at their funeral alone without Elsa. 3 Years Later [2010 to 2013] and it is Princess Elsa’s coronation Day. During the party after the Coronation, Elsa gets mad because Anna meets a man that she wants to marry already, and storm off. Anna asks her what she’s afraid of, and thus releasing a blast of Ice onto the ballroom floor. She runs away in fear of hurting anyone else. The Academy Award Win for Best Original Song, “Let It Go” starts playing, and depicts Elsa changing her ways and building her own Ice Castle at the top of the North Mountain. Anna [obviously] goes off in search for her Sister. She encounters friends along the way. A Snowman, Kristoff, who works for the Ice Business, and his Reindeer Sven [Now we know why he isn’t part of Santa’s Sleigh] After finally reaching the Ice Castle, Elsa kicks her out, Freezes her heart, and creates a gigantic snowman. They go back to the Troll place and the Troll Leader, now much older, tells here only True Love will save her, [Not Surprising] and they race off back to Arendelle, to Hans, the supposed soon to be husband of Anna. The story ends well, but I will not say what happens in the timeframe of when they get there, and the end. Who are the Actors [Character Voices] in the Movie? Previously seen on “Enchanted”, and the Broadway Musical Hit, “Rent” Idina Menzel as Elsa. Known for her Roles in “When in Rome” and “Veronica Mars”. Kristen Bell as Anna From his Role in “C.O.G” and his reprising role on Glee. Jonathan Groff as Kristoff For his Role in “Jobs” and “The Internship” Josh Gad as Olaf. Evaluate the Actors. How did they do? There performances overall were good. All of the Actors have had experience in the Music Industry. They are all great actors too. Did the Movie follow a regular predictable story line? The Movie is basically the same as any other Disney Princess movie, except this movie changes the Concept of “True Love” and who the Real Enemy is towards the end. Give details about how the movie was shot and directed? As I, have been a very big Frozen fan. I searched the Internet and found out that the entire Movie was based off the Region of Norway. They Producers and Animators took a trip to Norway to explore its many Sites and mountains. They incorporated that into the Movie. Does the Movie has its Own Musical Score? Not only did it win the Academy Award for Best Original Song, it is the most downloaded song on iTunes that comes from a Disney Movie. “Let It Go” Performed by Idina Menzel as of last week was still on the Billboard Top 10 for 45 unconsecutive weeks, going between #5 #6 #7 and so on. Its peak was at #5 and stayed there for 14 Weeks. Side Note: Read this Article.
