Hello everyone, I suggest that when a comment/post that made you get an alert (example: thread reply, profile post comment...) gets edited, you receive an alert saying "*insert member name* edited his post on the thread *insert thread name*"/"*insert member name* edited his thread *insert thread name*"/*insert member name* edited his status/profile post comment/ profile post". There's many other examples I won't state. I also suggest that you get an alert when a member unfollows you/ignores you/unignores you. Please use the ratings Support/No Support/Neutral and explain if you are neutral/are not supporting. ~EccentricPotato_
So..essentially I'll get a alert whenever someone modifies a thread/comment/profile posts of threads/comments/profile posts I'm in? I believe that's what I'm understanding. If so, I don't support it mainly because I edit my posts constantly for grammar corrections and it would get annoying for people who watch my threads or those who follow me that see my changes to my profile posts.
The editing suggestion seems a little unnecessary to me. As @The Real Xtreme said, a lot of people edit their posts for grammatical errors, and I wouldn't like to get an alert every time someone decides to make a slight edit to their post. As for the second part (alerts for un-following, ignoring, un-ignoring), I can imagine that a lot of people would not want these actions to be sent directly to the user they just ignored/un-followed. Personally, I like to unfollow (and ignore people if I could) discretely to avoid posts on my profile like: "Omg aLEx why did you unfollow me??"
