The system is very vague. I will be making a thread soon hopefully that fully describes everything. I like to describe the system we have now as a common sense threshold. We have 2 groups, a 1 month rating removal punishment and a permanent one. A mass rate abuse will result in a most likely moth removal and repeat offenses will be permanent of course. A small rate abuse issue will be a temporary ban from the forums. We use the 3+ negative and positive rating thing as a source but if a user is getting say 2 hourly to avoid this, it is obvious rate abuse. If you rate things that are obviously not fit with that rating, it is abuse. Caution is used. The system we have now if fine, there are just grey ares in which we will clear up. Ratings can be tricky.
The system in place is fine, and the Moderators do an awesome job of dealing with Rate Abuse. I feel like the so many rating in an hour idea is better than a ratio. Because he could spam likes (As an alt, or something, or a friend could, then they could spam dislikes). I'm not sure.
