My suggestion might not be possible, but I hope it works. We know the Ignore button which we all know and love. Well, if you ignore somebody, you cannot see their stuff, but they can still see yours. I think that when you ignore somebody it does the following: 1. Provokes their limit to your profile. This is good if you don't want only ONE SPECIFIC USER going on your profile. 2. Provokes their permission to see ANY of your posts. They cannot click the button to view ignored content, so they cannot see anything you post. 3. Provoke the permission to start a conversation with you. So basically, if you ignore/block somebody neither of you can view anyone's stuff.
No support, if its a suggestion then they cant see it they might know something that could completely change the suggestion. Its really not hard to ignore someone...
Well maybe it could show them the thread, but not who wrote it. This wouldn't stop them seeing threads in Mod Apps, Suggestions, etc if this was possible
I don't like that point of ignoring users on the forums. Very simple to just not be aware of what this certain user has commented. You choose what you read, easy.
No support. Your suggestion is like blocking someone, not ignoring them. When you ignore someone in real life (such as putting your headphones in to block the sound), you can not hear them but they are well aware that you are there because they can see and hear you. I'm assuming when you ignore someone on the forums, they can see what you post? Why does that matter considering you won't see their posts?
No Support. I don't really like the idea that they can't see your content because YOU ignored them. Doesn't seem fair at all to me
