In the past I have asked many people how to upload vids (using iMovie).
You guys tell me just upload the vid, but I just dunno, could some1 record a vid on how to upload a vid?

I'll write it out here, and if you don't understand it, I'll make a video.


It first depends on what Recording Software you use
Then if you have a video converter
Youtube account




To upload a video you need the basics

• Recording software
• Video Converter (optional)
• iMovie (optional)
• Youtube account

To start, you need to save your recording to your desktop.
After that, if you want to edit it, open it in iMovie (Macs, no clue what it is for Windows, etc)
After editing it, you have the option to convert it to a smaller size.
Once done with that, go to www.youtube.com/upload
That will allow you to upload your video.
Some videos may take longer based on their size. If the video hasn't uploaded within 24 hours, restart the upload.

Anyways I use Action and I can upload the video from there and not go to the youtube upload site. All depends on your software.

 

iMovie allows you to do the same thing, except it's on macs. I'm unsure to whether one is slower and one is faster.

My videos take long to upload to YouTube.

 

Upload it to youtube, upload it overnight if your Internet isn't very fast

 

Upload the video to YouTube. It isn't too difficult to upload a video, the hardest part is waiting the upload time. As @kinsey_kid said, upload the video overnight if your internet is slow. This will give the video plenty of time to upload.
