I was just happily going about my day replying to threads when i REALISED THAT THE OLD SKOOL EMOJIS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY???? WHAT HAPPENED TO HAT?? THE CAT EMOJI?? CLARITY BRING THEM BACK I CANT BARE THIS i like the updated ones but i miss my cutesy cat :(( Spoiler: tl;dr bring back the OG forums emojis
support, mainly due to the fact that some posts look incomplete now that you can't see the old emojis
I can add them back yeah. I think I disabled them as some of the :names: for the new emojis collided with the old ones.
Some of the former Forum smilies have been added with new names to avoid clashing with the other emojis. Others will be added once we get hands on the file. Locking as this is set to be implemented and to avoid unnecessary posts (unless it's MJ). If we migrate to a higher Forums version, these emojis are unlikely to stay (just an FYI, but it might stay idk ). Thank you for your suggestion.
All old smilies have been added AND there are some new smilies that I found! Some smilies have new/different names to avoid collision with the Unicode emojis we already have.
