Hello all, hope this is in the right place, wasn't sure where to post it. If it's not in the right place then feel free to move it.

So, just now, I was trying change my profile picture and I accidently selected the wrong one. In a vain effort to change it, I selected the wrong one again, and now am stuck with a screenshot of my skin on a skin search website as my profile picture as when I press a new file, it says 'No file selected' by the 'browse' button and then doesn't change the picture.

This is frustrating as this is a really bad profile picture (well done, Alien) and I really want to change it ASAP.

Is there a limit of how many times a day you can change your profile picture, or how long you have to wait to change it again, or is it just my computer going loopy/a bug?

Again, no idea whether this is in the right place, feel free to move it.

The image you're trying to upload is too large.

Try and shrink it, or change the file extension.

EDIT: It would be a bad idea to bigger the upload size. It would take to long to load, and the information has to be stored somewhere, right?

There is not limit to how many times you change your profile picture.

As said above it was likely to do with the size of your picture. 200x200 is the smallest an image can be
