UPDATE! Mojang has resolved the issue and I know have regained access to my original account! Thank you all all again for the kind words and support. Another special thanks to MotoPixel. I wasn't aware your type if kindness existed. I feel lucky! Previous edit: I have regained ownership of my beloved username, "Dewbious" and it is all thanks to @MotoPixel He seemed to have no idea that my account was compromised and simply bought the username because he liked it. Luckily, he was a member of this community and that is how he recognized the name in the first place. He was kind enough to return it to me and I cannot express how appreciative I am. Up until yesterday, MotoPixel was a stranger to me, and now I have dubbed him as the kindest creature in all the land. I'm forever grateful to you. I thought all hope was lost and the odds of being able to retrieve my username was slim to none. Thank you so much. I am so happy to be back. I can swim again! Outdated: I have very sad news to report. My Minecraft account of four years has been compromised. I currently no longer own the username "Dewbious" Not too long ago, someone malicious gained access to my account and wreaked havoc. Among other things, they changed my username. At this time, someone else has purchased my username; it may have even been the same person who stole my account, I have no idea. I have contacted Mojang and with hope, maybe I can regain control over my username, but right now, things are looking grim. The current owner of 'Dewbious' has logged onto Mineverse, it seems. They may have been impersonating me for the past few weeks. I wanted to make sure you were all aware that if you come in contact with a user named Dewbious, it is not me; so be warned! There is a Dewbious impostor out there! If anything changes, I will surely update this thread. Thank you all in advance for your understanding and support. Even though these are truly unfortunate circumstances, I will keep swimming, somehow.
Thanks for letting us know, i've banned the username from the servers and hopefully Mojang does something regarding it. If nothing works out, do let us know if you ever change your name to something else.
