Having a tag would be nice I suppose, but giving a rank to ex-mods isn't necessary. Too many people would apply for mod just to get the rank. I've had this conversation with too many people: Them: para when u get mod do u get a rank or kit or god instantly Me: No, we were accepted so we could help the server, not get special items. Them: oh then im not gonna apply i thought i would get a kit :( Them: u should get a free rank tho
I like how on Mineverse after all the effort and care the Mods put in, they literally get nothing in return except a goodbye message. xD
I like the tag idea maybe like "Retired Staff" but the rank idea is ehh neutral. Although if the tag was in-game too, the newbies would still be bombarding you with questions xD
Para, I get where you are coming from with this, but sometimes you have to do stuff without expecting anything back. That's just how life is. I do agree with the tag but I cannot agree with an upgrade.
I like the idea of a forums rank/custom title that says "Retired Staff". However I know many staff who have become not so friendly or even rude/toxic after being staff. I would hate current staff to be judged by the behaviors of some ex-staff members. It's my belief that it's the behavior of these ex-staff that make Cyp reserved about adding it. That in mind tho, I wonder if their behavior would have been different had they received recognition for their time here and been given this rank? Possibly? I would hope so. I wouldn't mind a forum section made for resignation threads as well. Staff could resign peacefully and keep their threads there. Rules for gravedigging would apply, but this would go well with the rank/custom title idea.
That's the point. He isn't expecting anything, but all the work he did, he think he should get something as return. You understand?
Sure, it would be nice if this were to be added. But is it necessary? No. I mean, ex-mods already get a trophy on the forums for being on the staff team. Now I wouldn't mind getting a rank or donor rank in recognition, but it's not what I applied for and it's not what I expected to get out of what I did. If this were to be added, I think the owners would decide who would receive the bonus at the end of their service.
