Yes, but spending time to comply to a loophole then comply to the actual EULA takes time away from other important things.
So it's not the best choice to have the staff using their time working on changing things to comply on a loophole to then change it to comply to the EULA later on. It wastes the staff's time, so it's best for everyone's time that we just comply to the EULA even if it sucks.
Mojang reminds me of an overreaching totalitarian government. If you don't follow every single order that they give you they shut you down and let you do nothing.
You forget this is a business and that they gave us a rule and we broke it. They gave us plenty of time to fix our server yet we didn't. Now, our punishment is a cruel blacklist. Backlash like this is to be expected when looking at this with a community aspect rather than a business aspect. While yes, this does make people angry at Mojang, this decision ultimately stopped them from losing potential money. Yes, they could have done it a better way, but we can't really change that now.
IMO a quick solution for heal and feed is to remove /heal and /feed and leave only /heal all and /feed all If its used it affects all players global. Maybe skirt the odds with a ranked voter crate. Could that be done? I mean have items in game that behave like the old donor perks. The voter crates being used in opfactions are a great example. All crates would contain the same items so there is a chance everyone in game can get the perk but just adjust the drop tables to favor the drop rate in favor of higher donors.
I'm not sure if you'd be able to keep the /heal all if you remove the permission to use /heal, since it usually builds onto the command, but definitely worth a shot! And I'll add your other idea. Only thing about the last part is that it's a booster, so it's not EULA compliant.
