This section of the PvP zone is where players cannot be hit. 1 block away from the wall is safe, hence why people afk there and hide inside the stair. He was also half way on each side so it must've registered him on the safe block. Do you have any more evidence?

 

It Hit him he was sneaking over it you can see I hit him

 

You hit him in a safe zone area. That is why he didn't move.

 

You cant hit someone in the safezone area...

 

Exactly. That is why you hit him but nothing happened. ;)

 

It would say 'Hey you cant pvp here' If you try to hit in the safezone and no damage would happen. He was sneaking over it and I hit him

 

You hit him correct, even if he did have anti KB, he would have taken damage.

 

He did take damage and didnt move at all thats hacks
