At prestige 5, players will get a throwable egg that gives all players in the area the egg lands slowness, weakness, and poison 2. This seems fair for the amount of grinding that player has had to do, but the fact that they respawn with that egg every life makes it really unfair. The egg does 3-4 hearts of damage on players, so if you just keep dying and throwing eggs, every human is a 1 tap - this makes it too difficult to win as humans if just a single person is farming eggs. A good arguement against this is "well, humans can go on roofs and camp, do tight parkours, and more to get out of reach and bowspam. Sure they can, that's the way the maps were built. This just makes it so much harder to play considering you don't get healing items unless you get a good killstreak - which is hard if you're constantly at half a heart with weakness 3.. This combined with the bow, and the fire sword zombies get makes it really annoying to start out. Obviously I have a good rank giving me good items, this isn't just for me - but in general for new players. As a "new" player this reset, I don't know a whole lot, so please don't bully me too hard. This is my honest opinion, and please do let me know if I missed something important. Kindest regards, Chromo.
It was already nerfed. Prestiging is suppose to give buffs, and the egg is a big one. A more reasonable solution to this would making the egg a prestige perk for a higher prestige, since it's the best one in the game in this Infection's meta. Like prestige 8 or 10 maybe, since 7, 8, 9, 10 all just give an extra arrow(talk about boring and useless since you'll respawn with the arrows anyways).
100% support a cooldown on eggs. IF people didnt abuse them through spam, eggs would be balanced for their prestige. However, there is no check on egg spam and from my personal experience I have not seen a single P5+ who has not egg spammed. They got nerfed to only deal 3.5 hearts of damage, but when you get egged every 10 seconds that means absolutely nothing. I personally think it should be something like a kit that they can control the cooldown on, but definitely not every life.
