Another stupid thing that came from you, smh.

1. The reason you'd get ddosed so much is because you throw your Skype out to people asking to be added to calls, join and be quiet, and then 10 days later talk crap to the same people you gave your Skype to.

2. A VPN doesn't save you from everything. Sure it's worthwhile having, but it isn't an instant solution - if someone already has your IP then a VPN won't change much. You'd need to change your IP through resetting your router ect(depending on whether you have a static or dynamic IP).

3. I doubt you've been ddosed that much. You're not THAT much of a nuisance.

Overall, 'asking' people to stop ddosing you won't work. Lesson of the day kiddies is don't be a complete and utter a**hole on the internet.

 

Friends of friends is the main problem for me. Then once they see my skype its bye, bye router. :`(

 

Use VPN, Proxies (idk if its allowed on Mineverse), DDos protection (Use Norton 360, they provide a very good firewall but Norton is super overpriced. If you want a good free firewall i suggest you use AVG free or Avista) + Most obviously don't send out your skype id Lol.

 

You can get Ips so easily it is silly. What people choose to do once they have them is a whole new ball game. If you get dosed contact your isp, as in the USA it is a federal offence.

 

Oh yea, definitely contact your isp to get them busted. They can face many years in police custody or have to pay a fine for this federal offence. TBH ddosing is not worth it.

 

The problem is that it is SO simple yet very annoying. I definitely recommend vpn proxy etc and use TeamSpeak not Skype.

 

But the thing is that idk if VPN's are allowed in Mineverse, simply because you can override your ban using VPN's.

 

Only if it is an Ip ban, if it is a player ban proxy will do nothing.

 

Also you can just turn off your modem for like 20 minutes, then turn it on. This tends to change your ip if it is dynamic.

 

Well, you can actually get someones IP through TeamSpeak if you know what you are doing.

 

Lets just say this, as soon as you connect your computer to the internet, you are basically screwed.

 

I've been dox'd at least 2 times and DDoS'd multiple times. Though hasn't happened in almost a year. I find it rather stupid to ddos someone over this stuff 'cause it just makes them look like they can't handle stuff maturely and have to knock off someone's internet or release personal information to act like they control the situation.

 

You don't agree with someone and they DoS you for 5 hours... Seems logical.
