Before I get into this, I don't think moderator applications should be "more explanatory" I think there should be optional or discretionary questions that should be included in the application. What I mean by this is, is the questions are mainly based on "What would you do" to get a better understanding on how they would deal with a certain situation. An example of a discretionary question is; "If 5 people were in need of your help at the same time, what would you do?" Now, I know that this is a very debatable with the current system completely fine but I feel sometimes people can take 2 minutes to make a application because it's so easy to do so! But I think that this'll help the demotion process as well, because we would know that they DO know what they would do if the question they answered actually came to real life. (I'm sorry If none if this is making sense to you I found this really hard to write - Apologies) Therefore, I would like to hear your opinion, Do you, personally, think that this is a good or bad idea? By the way if you disagree do not disagree (rate) me simply answer my poll. Thanks. -Brian
The thing is, Moderators never deal with a situation alone unless they want to. You can always go to other Moderators for help no questions asked. I think it should be more based off of, "What can you offer the server that other applicants can't?"
