I've haven't been on creative for a long time and lava was available at the time but now lava is not allowed and I can't get lava out of my area and can't block out.

 

Have you tried doing /p clear ?

The other thing you could've tried is using world edit to replace the blocks

 

This shouldn't be too hard to fix, so I'm going to assume this is fixed.
If not, make another thread.
