(I know this would go in the rant section but I rather not :v) I've been told by many people how Cory in the House is not an anime. Today I'm here to prove you all wrong. The popular Disney Channel anime Cory in the House was alive for 2 seasons, and had an amazing plot. It even earned a spot on the Top 27 Anime Fights. If Cory in the House earned this many anime related achievements, then how come it cannot be called an anime...? Also, if you look closely, it's animated to look as if it was real actors! You can hardly tell it's an animation just by looking at it! If you even look hard enough, you can see some anime references. For example, in episode 5 of Season 2, one of the characters made the funny remark, "SHIMMA BAU DU," meaning "Cory is in da house, boiiiiii!" I cracked up on this part. It was HILARIOUS! The setting even is anime related! The anime takes place in the nuclear capital of North Korea - Punggye - Ri. The father of Cory goes by the name of Vladimir Putin, who is seeking to destroy the world. Cory must put an end to his father, and make sure he doesn't nuke the whole world out of existence. I was in tears when the finale of this amazing 2 season show ended with Cory just letting his dad nuke the world, but then his dad decides not to, because he realizes how nuking the world out of existence will kill Cory, leaving him without a son that he loves dearly. They hug for 3 minutes until Cory tells his dad that he loves him. The credits roll in, and one of my all time favorite Japanese quotes appeared, "Kon'nichiwa," meaning "I love you peeps!" Overall, Cory in the House IS an anime, and if you say it isn't, after all the proof I've given you, then I suggest you look out your window. Because Cory is always watching you.
The only anime I've seen is 7 deadly sins. I don't really get the whole anime hype everyone on here has.
