If you get "timed out" then it's a client side issue with not being able to adequately download the chunks. There's been a lot of suggestions in the thread but I think you should try the following: 1) First, open cmd and ping mineverse.com - If you are getting request timed out, there is something wrong with your internet. Are you connecting from NA? 2) The hubs run 1.12.2 - try connecting with a 1.12.2 client at minimum render distance.
I am facing the exact same symptoms and getting the loading terrain issue too. But I can get past the lobby and it just says that i've been disconnected from a remote host.
Make sure your client version is 1.12.2. That's the latest version which will ensure things aren't broken in game, like doors, window panes, etc. Hopefully that helps. Cheers, Tom
This is what I did! I had read on a forum that having the chunk render distance at normal was causing issues , so I brought it down to the minimum and I was able to connect! :D
Hm , It seems the problem is happening again , I can't find a 100% working solution for this , so I think its still open for discussion
What is your ping to the server. You can see it by hovering over the connection symbol before you enter the server on the minecraft multiplayer screen
This won't be able to connect to mineverse at all as doing /hub there will go to skyblock(the better server's)'s hub. ------ Try what @TheOpps suggested :P
this issue is still going on??? Try redownloading minecraft, and if that doesn't work then try doing mineverse.net as the ip, switch between .net and .com
After the new survival update I seem to be able to login so I think it would be appropriate to close this issue
