If you want to apply for moderator you'll have to make an application thread in the 'Moderator Applications' section (http://www.mineverse.com/forums/moderator-applications.15/) Be sure to use the template given in the sticked thread at the top of the section.
If I were you, I would apply in a week or so, just so you can get to know the community better since you joined the forums today. Make sure to use the template, and add as much detail as you can.
