Im an MVP and I made the mistake of buying commander on Kitpvp, so is there any chance I can simply get my rank back?

Yes, you should be able to get the rank back. Not sure, a mod may be able to help you.

If a mod is unable to help, CypriotMerks or Noobcrew will need to fix your rank up in the server settings

 

you should go to another server, and take a screenshot showing evidence you'te MVP first.

 

Buycraft keeps a record of who buys what so that shouldn't be a problem, but for the convenience of others, you should probably do what Lionman said.
