The last prison map was probably the most successful because of the economy produced by many PvPing. This map has nothing towards that and McMMO is considered useless if you can't use it to your advantage in PvP. A big part of Prison was grinding McMMO, making super-grinders and giving us something to do. Many people have stated that Prison is dead, that is very true. I bet with a few tweaks to the design, it could be one of the most popular servers again. Remove that tower thats in the PvP arena. The PvP space is already 3x smaller than what it used to be, and it doesn't help if that tower is in the way of everything. Enable McMMO in the Prison world. A large part of the last prison was McMMO. It is a BIG deal in ranking up, helping you by providing double drops and faster mining. Also PvP would become a rise once again. Fixing the dupe glitches, but allowing us to use ALL redstone components. The creativity on the server is limited due to not being able to use certain redstone contraptions that rely on hoppers and slimeblocks. Fix the shop, the shop isn't corresponding to what your able to Mine at the mines. Can't sell Oak wood and thats very misleading to the new player, You imagine yourself getting a full inventory of oak logs and not even being able to sell them. Make all resources sellable to the shop that you can obtain inside the Prison. Adding other FREE members to your plots, this is easily done via permissions, and also helpful if you rank an alt to free and want to use its plot space. Any other suggestions, comment.
This suggestion you just stated would have been added if the owners cared about their server. Plus you don't need to pvp to get rich lmao. I got veteran and my alt to free in the first 2 months. There are other ways.
He suggested other points that weren't pvp related. Just cause he's a pvper doesn't mean he has that attitude 24/7 support, altho Prison isn't the only thing that died. *cough cough* Towny *cough* Factions *Cough cough cough* other stuff *cough*
I just meant it was a big thing on old prison. There was someone always out there PvPing 24/7. Potions also became a big part in the economy
I fully support trying to bring prison back to life. @SavageTM I like your enthusiasm! I was surprised to see how many of the old players you were able to get back online last night; many of whom I thought for sure would never return. Let's see if we can bring it back, but yeah, there are issues that really need to be fixed to make prison work again. I think you have a pretty good idea on what can be fixed to make this happen. I completely agree and support your suggestion. If these issues were fixed, I'd be more than happy to play Prison as regular as I used to with the old Prison last year. It was easy making money in old Prison because we had plot raiding and that kept a lot of our players interested because of the loot we would get from the expiring plots. Sadly with the plots on new Prison we can't do that anymore and another thing that @SavageTM mentioned, we can't add other players to our plots which is quite frustrating in my opinion. (Reasons: They can't help design or build and they can't make a shop at your plot.)
I agree, and I fully support this. The suggestions u made would easily fix the problems I had when I first started out on the new Prison.
I meant new prison :/ and yes I mainly got money from profits of plot raiding but that was old prison.
