Okay, Ive been seeing this "blacklisting servers" thing, so I started to look into it. Here's the info I found: BLACKLISTING SERVERS Yes Mojang are now Blacklisting server you can not join any server that is on a black list but this only go's for 1.9.2 pre.2 So you can still join servers in 1.9 1.8 Servers That are on the Black List: Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise Cant Advertise and more to come... ----------- The reason they are doing this is because of illegal credentials and buying ranks and perks. I don't understand why they are doing this to popular servers, but seriously. Apparently, mojang has been getting reports of kids buying things online without parents permissions, and parents want their money back. This is why they are doing this. These servers will have to be changed to 1.8 or 1.9. Servers higher than 1.9 will not be joinable.
If you aren't really aware of what has happened with the "blacklist" issue, you can watch the video informing you about what had happened. Just look up "Drama Alert" on YouTube.
Understand that if we change to suit the EULA they will stop receiving the funding from people who donate. If they change then they will eventually be forced to shut down anyway so it's a pretty tight situation right now.
Everything you have stated is untrue LOL. Everything you have stated is untrue LOL. One of the servers on the blacklist I was on today, the EULA enforcement is actually a handy thing, this is like the 50th thread on it, the EULA removes Pay2Win servers, if MV turns out NOT to be on the list, then you have nothing to worry about, BUT if it does then people who have paid for ranks already will be fine etc, but people who aren't and wish to Donate can't donate as the server will be refused the money etc, it's not on the list currently so yea, don't worry. Message to all EULA thread makers. IT'S A GOOD THING
Soooooooooo, Mojang are basically removing the ability to pay to get stuff other people cannot, and make the people that already paid have this advantage forever? So they kind of make it more unfair... Just wow
Actually, they're forcing them to stop making servers Pay2Win as they make MORE money then mojang does, Mojang has over 20million players and just 10 top pay2win servers make more then they do in a month, so yes.
