Bandicam is the best free software.

I use Fraps to record (it costs money).

 

What about OBS, is that any good?

I like using QuickTime because it has great quality and it came with my mac :D

 

OBS sucks i tried it it lags like CRAZY

 

I think BlueBerry screen recorder is the best ( http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/BBFlashBack/Home.aspx ) the express edition is free, and the video time and quality are not affected as in some free versions of other softwares. The only thing affected is the editing software, and it is possible to just use an alternative like QuickTime or windows video editor. Fraps is okay, although the free one only lasts 30 seconds. But you can get the cracked version ;)

 

Action is it if you want the trial it has great recording software but for the trial there is a water mark at the top. I'm getting fraps full version soon .
