Beginners guide to reporting hackers Hello there. You may or may not have been noticing the hackers on Mineverse, If you haven't you need to focus more. I'll get to the point, there are to many hackers for some staff and some players to report and ban. I will teach you how to report these guys so we can have a fun, enjoyable server. Lets begin. Step 1 - Recorder: First you will need a screen recorder. There are many out there for free download or monthly trials. If you are happy to buy a recorder, that's fine, just insure that your parents or guardian is aware. When you get the recorder, you can configure it to your likings. Step 2 - The Wait: This is the easy/boring part. You will want to normally play on Mineverse like any other day until you see a hacker or rule breaker. Run your recorder and record them. You can edit your video in anyway. Step 3 - Uploading: You will want to upload your video of the hacker to Youtube, Dailymotion, Facebook, Liveleak, Metacafe, Vimeo or any other video website that are allowed here. Once uploaded, keep the tab open for later use. Step 4 - Reporting: Ok, the final step. Hop on the Mineverse Forums, go to Forums, Report and click what gamemode (Server/game) the hacker was on. Press "Post New Thread" and fill this template in: Your in-game name: [Your username] The offender's in-game name: [Hackers username] A description of what rule they broke/how they broke it: [What rule was broken, e.g.: Hacking, Advertising, Spamming etc...] Evidence/screenshots: For Evidence/screenshots, go back to your tab with the video of the hacker. Copy the address (Right click the address box which is located in the top left corner). Come back to the template and in the tool-bar across the top, click "Media". Paste the address in and your video should be there. Ok! We are done, to finish, press "Create Thread". Wait for a staff to come and see it and ban the player. To receive them, open up your file explorer and type in the address bow: C:\Users\[Your name/username]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\screenshots. Drag to screen shot in the location where you want it. Click "Upload File" and select the image.
