i mean like, if you think he's abusing his power by threatening you with deleting the post with no substance, by all means submit a staff report; as a matter a fact id probably report him too if a conversation didn't yield any result. i just don't get why you're trying to "expose" him before you try to talk to him. while there's no rule stating you have to list a reason for a support/no support, and he cannot threaten you with deleting a comment that's well withing the rules (for now), by acting immature like this you're just proving his point that you're memeing him because you two have argued on threads before. i hear you were staff before, so you should know first hand how stressful it gets when a player is always trying to flame you in particular.
I don’t think we have as of recent. In fact, the last time (as I can tell) that I interacted with him, I was saying that he was making a good argument for his opinion. Show me where I’ve flamed him. I have been off the forums for like two months until a few days ago. The last interaction I had with him was me complimenting him. As an ex-mod yourself (I assume by your post count, idfk who you are), you should know not to make attacking statements without evidence. anyways Again, I’m simply asking edit: You know what? Sure.
listen im not saying your qualm is invalid; i think its fairly unprofessional to demand a player to justify their reason for a support or a no support when its not explicitly stated in the rules, and when it has been clarified before that you cannot delete comments which simply say support or no support; especially when it is their own thread/suggestion. on top of that i think its ridiculously unprofessional for a senior moderator to do that, especially sando, who i've never seen as a predatory moderator. however, the way you're going about it is wrong. the title was just designed to get a reaction, and the spirit of this thread is salt, which is why i gave you a salty rating (just like your last thread about promotion waves, with the "simp" bit at the end and the sarcasm laden in between) :9. if i were you i would either talk to him or (what i would do in 2014) just submit a report, because this is clearly a mod attempting to use a power he doesn't have, with a rule that doesn't exist, to benefit his own suggestion. it shouldn't be something a senior mod should do, they're not exactly new to how handle their power over players. at the same time, you know being staff can be stressful, too. everyone is a human at the end of the day; i didnt figure that out until after i tried to demote half the staff team when i was active. either way, i just think the way you're handling it is rather immature. he might have thought you were trying to hit no support for the meme, yeah, because he's just human and might have gotten irritated. you know how players like to troll staff and how uncomfortable it gets (not that it excuses what he said). you should have either tried to talk to him about it and asserted he doesn't have the authority & that you don't have to explain yourself, or submitted a report on sight is what im saying, not this.
