Ok.... Soo... Why do we still have the Bad Spelling and Old ratings? I know they used to have a good purpose (well... not Old...), but now.... not so much...

to be honest, the main reason people use these ratings now, is to give them the rating for no reason, or rate abuse people with. I'm hardly talking about myself here, as I have seen it happen with other players too. I just feel like these two ratings don't have much of a use anymore. Especially when a lot of the time, people spell things poorly intentionally. It would be nice if either these two ratings would be removed, as in would cut down on senseless ratings, and rate abuse, as well as stop people from pointing out something that was done on purpose. Either that, or a mod can kindly tell me why exactly we have them. Thank you.

Not always, that is why it has a rating.

 

I understand that. I DID, however say MOSTLY in the thread itself.

 

Just because in your personal experience they seem unnecessary doesn't mean the server will bend for you just because you want it. The world doesn't revolve around you, especially not for pointless annoyances like this when there are much bigger issues the server is dealing with.

 

I am aware the server has other issues, but as I said, I'm not the only one it's been done to

 

Who cares if someone points out your post is old or has bad spelling. Do you not have the capacity to handle a rating on a online forum?

 

It's not about THAT as much as it is that it is unnecessary, and is more commonly used in rate abuse than its actual purpose. I'm done arguing with you. If you don't support just say so

 

Rate abuse are positives and negatives. They are neutrals so it means nothing to your rep which is already pretty low. Now you are just getting angry at me for pointing out something lol

 

But either way you need to point out the spelling error, so why have a rating for it?

 

It is a convenience to not have to type a message explaining it to them and possibly cause an argument.

It is the same in the sense that you want everyone to heed to your opinion and if someone disagrees you have a mental breakdown. I have seen it happen so many times I lost count.
