Backgrading to 1.7.??

Having 1.7 on some pvp gamemode would be nice but you would have to constantly relog to go on another server. Secondly, many of the pvp centred servers have 1.8 items such as factions and op factions and prison, so this is a problem with downgrading. Also pvp without ds3 is just dreadful.

Why don't they just make pvp servers 1.7 and then "creative" the newest update

Actually most gamemodes are pvp centered so....

They could change the all the pvp based and allowed gamemodes to 1.7

Actually I do not think you are an old player this server came out in 2013 and was created during 1.7, so they could downgrade

It could also get new donators and players to come and join the mv family

Those are two seperate servers they have nothing alike apart from using the higher minecraft updates mineplex is a bigger server and mineverse is actually very pvp centered

Since the update for 1.8 has already happened and has been set in, this won't happen. If we did downgrade it to 1.7, we'd have to reset probably all or most of the gamemodes.

And I don't really see any perks to doing this. At least we don't have the update that everyone was upset about (pretty sure it was 1.9)

 

ok? most of our gamemodes are pvp based so it really would not make a difference

 

It has a lot of pvp gamemodes compared to other gamemodes

 

This would be a good Idea if Mineverse were a strict pvp server but its not

Someone already said it but there are plugins that change the pvp we don't need to downgrade the server

 

factions, creative, and opfactions are big ones. switch to 1.7 and people will start quitting.

just because there are some gamemodes on the server that are pvp based doesn't mean there aren't any that aren't on 1.8.

either way, this won't be done. there's just too much that you'd have to reset and it would upset the balance on the server.
