Alright, today I am gonna be suggesting that the moderators whilst doing reports, say why they deny it. I have seen a lot of threads in Report:Archives that are denied but they are clearly breaking the rules. This is most likely chat things, or screenshots. I won't be talking about hacking now, because different mods have different opinions. I am gonna be posting a few reports that were deemed invalid, but are clearly breaking the rules. 1. http://www.mineverse.com/threads/mod-impersination-str-denied.80684/ 2. http://www.mineverse.com/threads/112-tukr-mentioning-server-lack-of-evidence.80174/ 3. http://www.mineverse.com/threads/zeliteminerx-lack-of-evidence.78250/#post-815701 4. http://www.mineverse.com/threads/death-wishes-warned.80682/ I also feel like people who have been "Warned" two times or more, should be muted, and if continued tempbanned. This also bothers me. https://gyazo.com/75afff96602e1f84e1587e4295aaf737 If you are gonna look at report and combine double posts, why can you not just do the report??
Just going to go ahead and explain this one while I'm at it: It's only against the rules to impersonate an actual mod from what I have heard. Okay, anyways, I would like this. Sometimes a big explanation isn't really needed, but I like when a mod tells me why my report is incorrect. It helps me to make better reports in the future, and learn the rules even better.
That is exactly why I made this thread. Because if I was the one reporting for mod impersonation and it was denied, I really would like to know why so I could make better reports. Thanks for your response
I always state why I deny reports if there's a lack of evidence or if the player does not look like he's hacking. I'm not 100% sure if it's compulsory but since you suggested it, why not. For your suggestion on Warnings, we do take action if sufficient warnings have been given(2 and more). If reporters read http://www.mineverse.com/threads/in-game-report-template.108/ and read the note at the bottom it would be much better handled. Neutral on the suggestion.
And is it just me, or does it seem like there are bots doing some of the reports? Because when my report gets answered, stating that the player was banned I saw him playing on creative for like an hour until he was gone.
One issue I had seen before I was promoted (not sure if it still is), moderators would mark it as banned, but they couldn't get in-game for another few hours or so
