This'll be a short post, as it really is as simple as the title says. Skyblock.net allows for users to display their IGN on their profile & in posts by inputting it in the identities subsection of contact details in settings. Mineverse actually has significantly more boxes for various platforms that skyblock.net lacks, however is missing the IGN field. I see no negatives to this, and I believe it can be implemented with ease. Spoiler: Skyblock.net Spoiler: Mineverse Cheers, Manu. EDIT: I have since discovered that you can use /friends link in-game, making the old IGN field obsolete. Might I therefore suggest either adding an auto-broadcast, or a small informative thread on the forum so that this is clear. EDIT 2 (lol): I've connected my account using the friends plugin, however it seems that this still doesn't serve the same purpose as it does on skyblock.net as no username is shown on my posts nor are they on any other users I've checked, so the suggestion is for that (IGN linked to account is displayed for easily recognising players) EDIT 3: fixed formatting because it was hurting my soul, thank you everyone for the supports, let's hope we can get this feature implemented at some point <3
Support! Having your IGN under your profile next to your posts (e.g. underneath the message count) would be helpful and useful in lots of ways. @matt or @athyrix could sort this out i think
The thread announcing the command is in the Friends Plugin announcement itself. There's not much to go on about it, it's a simple command which gives you a link to a website where you can link your Forums account to your Minecraft account. I don't think it's a big enough of a deal to make a thread of it's own, but a broadcast could be a cool idea. Thread to the Friends Plugin announcement HERE. Well, it is displayed when you open their profile underneath their profile picture. I do agree though that it is more convenient to just see what their account is when they reply or post a thread.
