Now I'm pretty sure after the feature of the "poke button", a member's life on forums now is this:

Alerts boosted by 10000 a day

 

You can disable them if you choose to....

I love the poking feature so much, it makes me feel like I'm popular with all the alerts.:>

Like others said, if they get annoying, you can disable them :D

I've only got 2 or so pokes so far and they were by the same person.

 

Now I only get pokes... but I still like them :D

 

Well im at continuous poking wars

 

I got 500+ alerts in 1 day because of pokes :(

 

I just don't poke anyone back, then they can't poke me again ; )

 

I do too. I see someone pokes me, I just ignore it :p

 

I disabled them, they annoy me :(

 

They make me feel popular :P
