I'm going to be honest with you. That is completely ridiculous and quite an outrageous idea if you ask me. People are not going to spend their lives on a computer moderating a Minecraft server for the better.
Real life takes priority. If something is going on in real life that requires full attention and a moderator can not meet activity expectations, they should resign. They shouldn't have to cram in moderating to meet your desires.
I resigned because I got bored of playing Minecraft. Simple. If I came back to playing Minecraft and wanted to moderate again, I sure as hell wouldn't want someone saying this to me, but whatever.
