How to make a good Moderator application. So lately I've noticed a large amount of people who've been interested in applying for Mineverse staff, which is great! However, how are you going to make an application that is supposed to keep up and compete with the rest? Well, this guide is what you want to read. I personally have been a moderator two times so I hope my experience with writing applications can help you into hopefully becoming a moderator yourself. Lets start off with Do's and Don'ts Do fill out the template located here [Hyperlink] Do fill out the questions to the best of your ability Do highlight your best qualities Do list experience Do NOT copy other applications Do NOT list your donor rank. We don't really care if you and your 12 alts bought titan, wont change anything Do NOT use hard to see colors like this because this is annoying and no one will read it because it burns your eyes Do NOT tag moderators to read your application (unless they're your closest friend) Do NOT argue on your application. It shows immaturity Do NOT make frequent grammatical mistakes Do NOT lie about experience. We will find out. Likewise, Do NOT lie about your age. FAQ's How long should my application be? A general rule of thumb is between 800-1000 characters. Some servers require much more, upwards of 10000 characters, so make sure to put as much information as possible. Well what if I don't have experience? Does that mean I can't become mod? No. Even without experience, you can still become mod. Our current head mod for example had no experience coming in. What we look for is hard workers who will help the server to the best of their abilities. How should my application look like? These are a few examples of exemplary moderator applications.
