Hi everyone it's blocky here and I just wanted to suggest that we do like a 100000 word limit instead of 10000 in threads as it is really annoying for some people who wrote 10000 words on their mod app and Can't do anymore!

 

That's why I always go into Microsoft word before I make an extensive post/thread, to determine if the character count exceeds the limit. Usually if it does exceed 10000, post a bit of one, and then as quickly as you can, make a second message, either preparing it with the second halve prepared to be pasted, or a small placeholder (I.e. A full-stop punctuation, or something along the lines of "Reserved,") and edit that post with the second halve. Keep in mind, if your post barely exceeds the limit, just delete a bit, or cut the post into halves of about 5K characters each (can vary). It's an OK suggestion, but unnecessary.

 

Wait this is character count right... who the hell writes a 10k word post on the forums for a minecraft server...

But yeah if so might be good for some things like mod apps or long discussion posts. Support

you have to buy Microsoft word. :/

 

Notepad works too, but characters are a bit hard to determine. I suggest using the status bar to test in that case, if it's -99,860 characters or above, then the post is over the limit.
