Hey guys There's a new update comming out soon and with it a new materials for armor and tools stronger than diamond. The netherrite armor will be stronger than diamond armor so my question is if it will be implemented to oppvp and if it will be implemented on other gamemodes? I do have a concern for this update for the pvp gamemodes: netherrite armor gives you +1 knockback resistance which means player take (i dont know the exact percentage but) something along the lines of 50% less kb which will change combat completely. I don't know seems weird to me tell me your opinions
Are you asking if it's going to be fully implemented or if it's going to remain 1.8 but allow users with 1.16 to play? If it's just remaining 1.8, well there's no way to actually get that armor or tools / weapons, so I can't see it being an issue.
you won't be able to get the armor in the first place unless the server's core version which is 1.8 currently just happens to jump all the way to 1.16 (which would be a whole 8 versions and last I heard crew wasn't really in love with anything 1.13 above so that's a stretch) and that's super unlikely.
