Caphi's Moderator Application.

Preface
Hello, my name is Mohamed or "Mo" for short. I am applying for Moderator to help this amazing server, I believe I have the correct traits and personality to help out this server. I ask for complete honesty from you guys and lets get on to the application. If you are here to leave useless sentences of hate and leaving no feedback don't bother replying unless it is constructive criticism that may help me​

What timezone are you in?

· UTC +8:00

What country do you live in?

· In South-east Asia, Singapore.

What languages do you speak?

· I speak Arabic as my 1st language and then English as my 2nd. My grammar is good, so don’t worry about English being my 2nd language.

What makes me different from other applicants?

• Well, here's the thing. Mineverse is lacking in my timezone, I have to stay up until 12am to see an actual mod and I also think they're lacking in PvP moderators which I think I can fit in the role for as my timezone is a very unique one and I have experiences with clients and certain hacks.

Why do you think you should become a mod?

• I have volunteered a numerous amount of times on other servers and a couple have accepted so I believe I have got the potential to moderate it.
• I try to keep stuff in the chat as safe as possible for me and for people under my age to monitor the chat and keep it extremely appropriate with a bit of laughs here and there

• My aim is to keep the server providing a fun atmosphere for ALL ages.

• I always look up to the Moderators and examine their positives and how they act which I will act as the Moderators active now, they are like my role models on this server to me to act just like them to hope to be given this glorious position. Whenever I see the Moderator tag, it makes me think of responsibility which is what I have.

• I am active in chat most of the time and reply to a player who is in need to a question or a text directly to me. I shall NEVER ignore one player.
• I can benefit the server by reserving the moderators on KitPvP and OPFactions as my timezone is very unique as well as all the traits I have. I will also deal with reports as soon as possible.

• Polite

I like to be polite to players, I like to make friends with one another, I tend to have a polite atmosphere around players and very joyous around these players which I love. I have made many best friends because of this imaginative server.

• Empathy

I am empathetic and try to understand one another’s feelings and try to be optimistic towards them and try to make them laugh with some of my cheesy jokes, to see their points of view and try to solve their issue.

• Imaginative

I like to think imaginatively to solve issues with creativity to think creatively towards a report or something else; however I love this trait of mine as I use it quite a lot. I also try to make sure any issue I solve is by my-self.

• Social

I like to socialise within the community, I love to socialise within new players I’ve never met! I get to know them and notice some of their things going on every now and then and get even skype and text them!

• Catching Offenders

I am able to catch hackers by my recorder and screenshot some vulgar language with my trusty screenshotter Gyazo and I will always ask other Moderators if this is a bannable offense, I have read the FAQ to see what is bannable and muteable and what Moderators are allowed to do when they have received the rank.

• Productivity

I never like to waste time whenever I'm online, I like to do something productive instead of doing something useless I should be doing something that actually benefits with me in-game.

• Experience

I have a lot of experience with clients and hacks, I know a numerous amount of it and know when they're using it. Whether it is kill aura, criticals or even xray. I am also experienced with the commands that a Moderator gets. I know the commands that the moderator gets as I have already read the FAQ. I have experience with hack clients and know certain hacks. I am also experienced with Xenforo as I am currently a mod on another server with Xenforo forums.

• Helpful

I am very helpful, I am extremely active in chat therefore whenever someone asks a question or something directly to me, I am always the first one to reply. My eyes are always stuck to the chat for some reason, I never take my eyes away from the chat. I also look every now and then in the help section in the forums to see if I am able to help someone.

• Patience

I am very patient this is evident that I have grew up patient with my family, I feel that this a good trait as for I can teach someone that has reported a player or a player that has to be unbanned.

• Bias

I am not bias, I will ban a player whether if he is a person which I dislike or a person I like. It is a show of bias which I very much dislike. I find it unfair to other players that a friend of mine never gets banned if they break one of the rules or if I ban someone just because I dislike them. I shall never do that.

• Active on Teamspeak

You can usually find me on teamspeak, I'm active there unless your timezone is drastically different towards mine. This'll help so I can moderate the teamspeak server.

• Friendly

I am very friendly, I like to say hello to everyone all the time as I am easily approachable and I just like being friendly in general and not grumpy all the time.

• Strict

When something serious strikes at me whether it is a unban or a report, it is very important to be strict about it and serious. Its not fun and games, it is something serious. This is important as you don't a Moderator to be extremely nice to just let everything go.

• Management

I know how to manage my time correctly and spend an equal amount of time in my real life and on mineverse in a somewhat active manner which links to me being active. Management is important so you don't get stressed between your education and the server.

• Work Ethically

There are many factors and traits one could give the ability of working ethically. I believe I perform every single one of them which include, integrity, working hard, responsibility, empathy and discipline.

· Commands

I am experienced with the commands which the Moderators get.

/ban [Player] [Reason] ~ Bantz – Permanently bans the player

/tempban [Player] [Time] [Reason] ~Bantz - Temporarily bans the player.

/mute [Player] [Time] – Mutes the player for a period of time. (Never just do /mute [Player] as that is a permanent mute)

/fly – Allows myself to fly to moderate the server.

/god – You do not get hurt as that is interrupting yourself examining the player.

But in order to punish a player you need EVIDENCE.

I won’t say how mature or respectful I am, that is for you to decide on checking on me in game and in the forums.

How long can you be active on the server and forums everyday?

• Monday: 3-5hrs

• Tuesday: 1-3 hrs (Short due to the fact I have rugby training after school

• Wednesday: 1-3hrs (Short due to the fact I have rugby training after school)

• Thursday: 3-5hrs

• Friday: 5-7 hrs

• Saturday: 6-9hrs

• Sunday: 5-7hrs
• As you can see I am very active, but some of you may say I’m not active as it possibly may be due to timezones. I try to stay awake at night to moderate even more but nevertheless I am extremely active in my timezone.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?

· I have joined Mineverse in April 2014 and joined the forums in October 2014.

Have you ever been banned in the past?

· Yes, which I do regret massively.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

· I have moderated on a Pixelmon server called RandomCraft and a KitPvP server but I have sadly resigned from both of them as I moved to Mineverse. I'm also a current mod on a server called MultiPvP, a server with 20-70 people on per day.

What timezones can you cover most?
Asia - New Zealand GMT +8-12
(Sometimes I can be active near European/American times.)
