I'm glad you asked. I honestly never planned on applying to be staff on MV again. I left which triggered a chain of events that I did not anticipate nor could I control, but left the server in a crisis. Cypriot made his best move, which was to promote someone to a higher staff position to govern over the struggling staff team confused and left to deal with the overwhelming pile of work at their feet(the position I worked so hard to achieve but was never granted). I moved on, deeply hurt, and insulted to find another place to call home. I found the server I work for currently left in quite the same predicament. A highly respected moderator left which caused a much similar event. The server was in shambles left with, what looked like heaps of staff, but in actuality only a handful of active staff members left. Just barely keeping their heads above water. I went into action and did everything in my power to help. Fast forward 4 months later I was promoted to a "helper" position. Within a week I had proven myself worthy of Admin and was graciously requested to be part of the core staff to help run the site/server. I was so happy. c: But I could never truly leave my home. This place, Mineverse. I couldn't stop thinking how I was on the opposite side. I was in the shoes of the staff I left behind to heal a community broken and without trust. Just like I left you all. I checked the forums everyday. Reported spambots, helped on the forums whenever possible. Scofu was doing a great job! Things looked well. Then more active staff left, and Scofu resigned. That mixed with all the UUID issues and broken server plugins from 1.8 it was hard to watch. I made a thread asking where all the mods were. Hoping to call attention to the few active staff left. Cyp responded and casually mentioned adding a forum moderator rank. I had spoken with Noobcrew earlier that morning and he mentioned needing to possibly handle some staff issues and I offered my hand wherever possible. I made this app only to help this server should Cypriot and Crew feel my help would be useful. My way of giving back to the community I left behind. I should have never left. I regret it everyday. C'est la vie... I would give anything in my power to help this community. I hope this answers your question.
