Well this is my idea for hacks: First ban: 15 days banned+ 2 days mute after the ban second Ban: 1 month banned + 1 week mute after the ban 3 times banned: 2 months banned+ 1 month mute after the ban 4 times banned temp banned
You are only supposed to have 3 chances. Your third ban is supposed to be permanent. For everything. Giving people more than that is just a test of patience, and it's extremely pointless. The system we have now isn't the best, but it will do until we work up one that is better than our current.
For Hacks: 1st Ban- 2 week 2nd Ban- 3 weeks 3rd Ban- 3 weeks 4th Ban- 1 Month After 4 Bans the player would get Permanent Ban. No, current system is fine. We are supposed to reduce hackers not let all of them come back in a short period of time. For Flame (Insults etc...) 1st Ban- 10 hours 2nd Ban- 1 day 3rd Ban- 3 days 4th Ban- 5 week 5th Ban- 1 week After 5 Bans the player would get Permanent Ban. Tempban for insults? Half the server would be banned and there are mods warning players. For Ban Evade Permanent Ban but if the "Main" Account get unban the player can make a ban appeal for unban his smurf account. Already a thing. For Advertise 1st Ban- 1 month 2nd Ban- Permanent Ban Why are we going to let advertisers back? For Share Personal Stuff (Skype, IP’s, Addresses, MV Info, IRL Info) 1st Ban- 1 month 2nd Ban- 2 months 3rd Ban- Permanent Ban "Punishment: Giving away personal information will result in a month ban or permanent ban based on severity. (Your Skype can be given away voluntarily by you)" this rule is fine the way it is. For Blackmail 1st Ban- 1 month 2nd Ban- 2 months 3rd Ban- Permanent Ban "Punishment: Blackmail for anything can result in a temporary ban or permanent ban depending on severity." again. Seems fair to me. Drugs, Sexual Stuff... 1st attempt- 1-2 hour mute 2nd attempt- 1 day tempban "Exception: Porn sites, malware, torrents, real world laws, etc - 31 day ban" This is already in the rules.. If the player don't hack for 3 months the "ban level" will be reduced. ^ How is that going to teach them not to hack/break the rules?
