Message before we start This is my third time writing a global moderator application. The reason I have redone it multiple times is because I had originally felt like I had done a fantastic job in writing my application, but then after a week or two pass, I feel like I could have done better and so I attempt to do such. If you have rated one of my previous applications, I would highly appreciate if you would take the time to read this one and re-rate me. I spent a lot of time working on this application and I have attempted to improve it, as well as myself, based on opinions and advice given to me by others. Please do not reply to my application by telling me to be more active or something along those lines, because I am not looking for that type of feedback. I'm looking for the type of feedback that will help me better myself and my application to the best it can be. I beg that you have a mind of your own when reading this and do not feed off of others, but rather offer me your own original advice. Many thanks, Prefixed. Application Questionnaire How old are you— I am currently 14, turning 15 in less than 6 months. Your in-game name— My in-game name is Prefixed. What timezone are you in— I am in the Eastern Time Zone. What country do you live in— I currently live in the United States. What languages do you speak— At the time, I only speak one language, that language being English. In my next year of high school, I will be taking Spanish. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence— I do indeed. For video recording, I use Camtasia - which I have found to be pretty reliable. For photo capture, I use Lightshot - being extremely useful in making quick edits (if such is necessary) and uploading. Why do you think you should become a mod— There are actually quite a few reasons that I think I should become a moderator. I feel that these reasons would be beneficial to not only the server, but myself as well. These reasons are: I'm Respectful I treat all players with respect, regardless of who they might be or what they may have done. I believe that in order to gain respect, you must give respect, and so I follow this. I'm Unbiased As far as moderation goes, all players will be treated equal. If moderation action must be taken, I will make sure it is fair and reasonable. Specific people, such as friends or someone I dislike, will not be treated specially or harshly based on how they stand with me. If a friend of mine were to break a rule, I would take action against them because I have to, no matter how bad I might not want to. I'm Mature Though I may poke around and make fun at times, I consider myself to be a very mature person. I will take my job seriously and make sure it gets done properly. You can expect me to act with good behavior and a good attitude all the time. I'm Knowledgeable I am very knowledgeable about Mineverse and all included game modes and would be able to assist a player in almost any problem they may run into. In the slim chance I may not be able to help, I will find someone who can. I also know how to use all of the basic moderation commands, such as /kick, /mute, /ban, /tempban, and /unban and all attributes associated with the commands. I'm Active I am constantly online, often times found roaming a different server every 10 minutes or so. I spend a lot of time on Mineverse and so I feel that is highly beneficial to the server as far as moderation goes. Chances are, if you're online, I'm online and you'll probably see me around maybe once or twice. You may also see me around here on the forums as well. I'm Friendly I enjoy being able to meet new players and make new friends while I'm playing Mineverse, and for that reason I maintain a nice & friendly attitude. I have received many positive comments and been told many times over the months that I am a pretty cool person and I like to think so myself. I'm Responsible I wouldn't abuse my moderator powers or use them for anything besides their purpose. I will take responsibility for any of my actions and will not modify the truth to prevent myself from gaining punishment. How long can you be active on the server everyday— I can be active over 5 hours on most weekdays and over 8 hours on weekends or days school does not interfere with. Here's a basic schedule: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Monday 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Tuesday 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Wednesday 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM on Thursday 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Friday 12:00 PM to 10:30 AM on Saturday 12:00 PM to 10:30 AM on Sunday How long have you been playing Mineverse— I originally started playing Mineverse in June 2014; but due to lost access of my original account a few months later, there was an extensive period I was unable to play. I started playing again in September 2015, which would total 5 months of having been with Mineverse. Have you ever been banned in the past— No - I have not had any moderation action taken against myself on neither the forums or in-game and I do not plan on such. Do you have any past experience as a moderator— I have experiences with moderating two different small servers, started by friends. Both servers peaked ~15 players and closed in a short amount of time due to lack of interest and funding. Closing You've reached the end of my application. I love you guys so much. I've been gone all day and I come home and finally check up on my application and I see that I have the support of so many people. I would have expected more neutrals or a few no supports, but I haven't seen any of those.. yet. Thanks so much! <3 Thanks for your input. Any particular reason that you chose to go neutral? I'll try my best to fix any flaws. And to answer your question - no, I didn't pay $100 on Camtasia and likely never will. I downloaded the trial version and it never expired for some reason and so I continue to use it. If for any reason it just dies one day and realizes that the trial expired a while ago, I have a backup recorder installed on my PC. I gave you a cookie for your funny joke - 10/10.
