You have to be ingame if you want then to be removed... The people said that the owners of he plot have to be ingame for locked chests to be removed.

I am experiencing the same lag (sometimes). I do know in-fact that solmill7 has Optifine, but that's not helping.
Same problem with me. You either have to wait for Gwism to get on, or get the previous owners of the plot to remove the chests.
If you used to be any rank on Prison, then you donate and lose your rank, you are still that rank technically. You can still upgrade to the next...
