Its not a glitch. As explained on the mc forums, the connection issues are from a ddos that occurred and some people are still having a few issues...

Just leave it as it is. Going backward is going to bring up so many more complications. It is just something people will have to put up with.
If you are being honest then you should appeal. If you are guilty and make an appeal you can still get an unban
Just dont worry about whatever was said. You have the right to appeal your bans, therefore would take it if you love the server.
