If they would die by something reportable, the player would most likely take the items or the items would be gone by lava, void, despawning
All of these are fully reportable. And if people die from any of these things, it's not like moderators have creative and are able to retrieve...

As with my computer being broken, yet I still have my phone, I would still be able to moderate even without a computer.
